A Jack Russel in Plaid: This fictional short is an ode to the fabulously clever, witty, and incisive David Sedaris. He does not need any boost from us, as he is doing just fine (thank you very much), but this story was written in his style, at least, as an exercise and as a complement, hOylE tried to write it in Sedaris's sprightly style.
So, we hope you enjoy this light-hearted tale of a young boy who does not feel as if he fits in and how he maneuvers his way around a bully.
DISCLAIMER: Mr. Sedaris has never, ever approved of this story, so we do not make any claims of sanctioning this piece by Mr. Sedaris, his representatives, and so on. Call it a parody, a satire, or what you will of a great living author's work. Whatever the category, it is only meant as an homage.
